Matteo Bocelli sings ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ with a classical twist

Matteo Bocelli sings a beautiful classical rendition of the Disney hit ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight?’ from ‘Lion King.’ The Italian singer is backed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the ‘Disney Goes Classical’ Album.

The video is beautifully shot in the studio and catches Matteo in the light, portraying him like an actual Disney prince.

This unique song was first featured in the 1994 Disney animated film “The Lion King.” World-renowned artist Elton John composed the tune that won an Academy Award and a Grammy.

The film tells the story of Simba, a lion who cannot wait to one day become king. But his uncle Scar also has his eyes on the throne. His plan to overthrow Simba and his father, Mufasa, ultimately leads Simba on a journey to search for his destiny and purpose.

Matteo, with his Prince Charming voice, transforms the already wonderful classic into a fresher and more intimate remake of the song to sweep us away. His sweet musical flow makes us relive one of our all-time favorite fairytale theme songs from “The Lion King” Movie.

His vocal intonation is in perfect sync with the piano effects giving an angelic and magical sound in general. Most of his fans say this particular remake of “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?”

It is one of the most excellent remakes ever made. Matteo sings much like his father, Andrea Bocelli. He is so expressive and fabulous with the way he sings with confidence and fluency, just like his father’s. In fact, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
