Standing 15 meters high and coming in at a cool 72 tons, the mechanical sculpture depicted rolled down the streets of the coastal French city Calais for three days. It was created by the secretive performance art group “La Companie de la Machine.”
The idea that a group of people would donate so much time, effort, talent, and money to the creation of something beautiful is amazing. It’s breathtaking to see such an extraordinary piece of art created just for the public to enjoy.
