There is a type of wolf called the Sea Wolf, 90% of their diet is seafood. They are also known as the coastal wolf, and can mostly be found on Vancouver Island in Canada.
Bertie Gregory first saw one of these amazing wolves in 2011 when he visited the area. It was a female wolf, leader of her pack, and mother to a litter of pups.
After he went back home Gregory found out that the wolf he saw was shot and disposed of. That’s when he took it upon himself to make sure that those wolves needed to be protected.

In order to protect them, he needs to show the world how important and majestic the coastal wolves are. So he returned to Vancouver Island to search for the elusive wolf.
The area is full of wildlife, but he believes the coastal wolf to be the most special. They can swim for several miles in between the islands and rocky outcrops.
There is no other wolf in the world like them, but their numbers are dwindling which is why they must be preserved. It is not an easy trek to find them.
It takes a while for Bertie to finally find the first tracks of the coastal wolves. Soon he will see them again for the first time in years.
