Have you ever been drying yourself with a towel after your shower and suddenly noticed something on your body that should not be there? It’s scary, isn’t it? It makes you run to your doctor but at the same time, you don’t want to go. You end up scheduling an appointment and procrastinating until you become so anxious that you just need to know. Sound familiar?
I’ve had that happen to me. One day I was getting dressed when I noticed a lump in one of my forearms. At first, I didn’t make much of it but after a few months, I noticed it had gotten a little bigger. After avoiding the subject for about three months, I went to see the doctor. He did a biopsy and a couple of blood tests and ruled out anything serious. Apparently, it was only a lump of fat.
After this, I started paying a little more attention to what I noticed. I won’t lie. Before I went to see the doctor and got the results, I was shaking in my boots. The more people I talked to, the more possibilities I heard, and most of them were not good. I have gone to get my yearly physical, and the doctor has found nothing I should be worried about since.
Ashley Hallford’s story is one of the weirdest I have ever heard. You might be wondering what might have happened that made it so weird. She went through a lot of emotional instability. She thought she was not going to make it, but thank God, a miracle happened which change the expected outcome completely. This story is so good, it sounds like something straight out of a Hollywood film.
Ashley was in the first semester of her pregnancy. She went to the doctor and got the usual tests, only to discover she had a swollen lymph node. She was told to come back so she could get treatment for it. After the results of some of the other tests got to the doctors’ hands, they realized her condition was far more serious. Ashley was eventually diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Ashley also noticed something she hadn’t felt before. There was a strange lump on the back of her head. She noticed this about one month into her pregnancy. Initially, doctors thought that she had a salivary gland infection. She got treatment for it and her condition seemed to improve. The apparent improvement only lasted a short while until her initial symptoms started flaring up again.
What would she do? Were doctors optimistic about her outcome? After all, doctors had just realized what the problem was. Click on the video for the conclusion.
