I’ve had that happen to me. One day I was getting dressed when I noticed a lump in one of my forearms. At first, I didn’t make much of it but after a few months, I noticed it had gotten a little bigger. After avoiding the subject for about three months, I went to see the doctor. He did a biopsy and a couple of blood tests and ruled out anything serious. Apparently, it was only a lump of fat.

The more people I talked to, the more possibilities I heard, and most of them were not good. I have gone to get my yearly physical, and the doctor has found nothing I should be worried about since.

Initially, doctors thought that she had a salivary gland infection. She got treatment for it and her condition seemed to improve. The apparent improvement only lasted a short while until her initial symptoms started flaring up again.
