Full-grown goats can be a lot of fun, but when it comes to the cuteness factor, it’s hard to outdo baby goats. These little ones are playful, happy, and always seem to be having a great time. They’re innocent and sweet with just the right amount of silliness thrown in. Much the same can be said of human babies and toddlers.
Not so long ago, as you may recall, goats took the internet by storm. More specifically, videos of goats yelling and sounding remarkably like people became immensely popular. There’s just something endearing about animals that sound like people; maybe we wish they could really talk to us. In any case, it was only a matter of time before a cuteness twofer came along: a human baby having a little talk with an adorable baby goat.
As you’ll see in the video we’ve posted below, the two kids got along pretty well. We don’t know what the youngsters were talking about, but they must have some plenty in common!
Nobody really knows why goats sometimes make such uncannily human sounds. It varies a lot from goat to goat. Like people, each individual goat has a distinctive voice of its own. The ones that do sound like people are just one cell phone video from becoming internet sensations. Whether they sound like people or not, goats are very vocal animals. When a mother goat and her kid get separated, they both holler in an effort to find each other. A domestic goat that wants to be fed will make this clear, and loudly. An angry goat will also make plenty of noise.
