Now that the hot month of July is upon us, it’s an important time to talk about pet safety. Keeping your dogs and cats cool is super important – turns out it’s pretty entertaining as well.
When Youtuber jones948’s puppy first discovered air conditioning, he absolutely loved it! He couldn’t get enough so his owner grabbed the camera – the rest is history.
It was a hot July day and this poor dog was stuck in traffic with his owner. Even though they usually ride with the windows open to enjoy the wind, the traffic made that pretty much impossible.
So he decided to turn the air conditioning on and the adorable black puppy just absolutely freaked out. He starts shaking his head like a maniac, trying to get all that delicious cool air over his entire body. And who can blame him? Air conditioning is the best thing ever in a hot car, it’s almost impossible to imagine living without it.
Keeping pets cool is important for their health – if it is hot enough for your dog to be panting constantly, you need to get the temperature down or buy them a fan or something. When you are walking outside, make sure the road isn’t too hot by putting the back of your hand on a sunny part of the pavement. If it is unbearable after less than 5 or 6 seconds, it’s too hot to go for a walk.
