During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Morgan Freeman was excited to talk about his new bee sanctuary. The interview started with Jimmy thanking Morgan for coming on to do a bit for the show.
The bit involved Morgan Freeman sitting among the audience and falling asleep during Jimmy’s monologue. For a moment, it seemed that he pretended to doze off during the interview as well.
They discussed people doing impressions of Morgan, and Jimmy showed a clip of someone doing an impressive impersonation of him reading a letter written by LeBron James.
Morgan appeared to be delighted, but he revealed that he wasn’t generally a big fan of anyone doing impressions of him. After that, they quickly changed the topic over to his recent establishment of a beekeeping sanctuary.
That is when Morgan really lit up. He was genuinely excited to talk about the ranch he transformed for bees. It was located in Mississippi, and he takes care of them himself.
Jimmy was dumbfounded when Morgan informed him that he feeds the bees without the special suit on. There was no way he wouldn’t get stung, Jimmy said.
The perpetually cool Morgan stated that as long as you resonate with the bees, they won’t sting you. Also, he believes since he feeds them, they wouldn’t dare hurt him.
