‘The Pearl Bailey Show’ welcomed the legends Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, and Louis Armstrong to perform together. In Louis Armstong’s last TV performance, the guys joke with each other, singing one another’s songs.

The trio sings a refrain of lyrics, “I don’t want to sing that song!” Each time the band would begin to play a hit song from one of the singers. The first time it happens, Bing protests singing his own song.
Andy and Louis assure Bing that he doesn’t have to sing his song. They harmonize together on the theme ‘Someone Waits for Me.’ Bing stands next to them, looking on as they sing, and he comments, ‘Simon and Garfunkel.’

Then, the music switches to ‘Moon River,’ a massive hit by Andy Williams. Louis and Bing comfort Andy who sings how he doesn’t want to sing that song. Louis and Bing sing the song’s chorus together as Andy looks on.
The band plays the instrumental lead-in to the Louis Armstrong hit ‘Mack the Knife.’ Louis protests by singing that he doesn’t want to sing that song, and Andy and Bing step in and sing it for him.

Pearl Bailey comes out and sings the same line as the others. She doesn’t want to sing that song. The guys comfort her and sing Pearl’s hit ‘Hello Dolly.’
Some additional background singers join in, holding hats and doing a kick line. Pearl gets into it, shaking her hips and dancing around to the big ending as Bing, Louis, and Andy laugh. The guys let Pearl steal the show, and the audience loves every minute of it.
