When asked who the most important people in our lives are, we don’t hesitate even a second to say our children. Our children mean the world to us and we don’t know what we would do if we didn’t have them around. From the moment we welcome them into the world we are committed to them and we know that we would do anything in the world to keep them safe. That is after all what it means to be a parent.
Well what many people don’t tell you is when you are about to bring home your first child that first time is how terrified you are. Not necessarily of bringing a new baby home, I mean that is scary too though, but because of another reason. There is a lot of anxiety around having to bring a new baby home and introduce them to your four legged babies. This is one introduction that is incredibly important and terribly nerve wracking.
In that moment when your pets, especially dogs, meet the new baby you literally hold your breath because you’re just not sure what to expect. When the pet does finally meet them and decide that they can stay, as if they had a choice, we all let out a huge sigh of relief and start trying to figure out the whole parenting thing.
Many times though when our fur babies meet our actual babies they become extremely attached. Often times our dogs even seem to think it is their sole responsibility to watch out for that little baby and they become very protective. That kind of bond is what you will see in this featured video. In this short clip you will see a very large dog all cuddled up with his new best friend, a baby. We just know that these two are destined to have many adventures together and will definitely be lifelong buddies.
