Newborn Mouse Found in Hallway Becomes a Wild Child

A newborn bird with wet feathers lies nestled in a white, textured fabric.

Camille Campos was walking through her hallway where she saw a tiny little creature moving. At first, she could not register what it really was, but later she found that it was a newborn mouse.

He was lying on the floor but was not very active at that point in time. So, she picked up this cute little mouse, and that is, she felt an instant connection with this little mouse.

Camille tried to call every animal rehabilitator near her area, but none would rehabilitate a mouse. Unfortunately, this was not good news for her as she did not know how to raise one of them.

A small, dark brown mouse with large ears is held gently in a person's open palm.

She was attached so much to this little mouse that she decided to keep him. She knew that the mouse wanted to live. So, the mouse was always with her as she would feed her.

Camile made a comfortable bed for him by cutting her sock, and he was pretty relaxed and content with his new home. He would crawl in there and would sleep very calmly. Then, after a few days, the mouse opened his eyes as he was growing up. He was getting bigger and bigger.

Looking at this made Camille excited as he was getting bigger and stronger day by day. She would bond with him, and he loved crawling up her hand and moving around. Camille made a glass enclosure similar to the ones that were used for pet hamsters. She placed him in his new home.

The mouse would run around wildly and be so fast she felt he was a wild child. Seeing him become an adult mouse made Camille happy, and she thought that she had done something special in her life.
