No Need for Paste or Scrubbing With Easy Polishing Hack

If you’ve ever attempted to polish silver before, you know that it can be a ton of work and often isn’t worth the time and effort required. Thankfully, something called the “lazy man’s silver polish” is making things a little easier.

You don’t need any expensive ingredients or materials to get the job done with this hack, either. You’ll need a bowl, aluminum foil, salt, baking soda, and hot water. The first thing you’ll need to do is line the dish with the foil’s shiny side up.

Making the magical mixture is easy; add the three ingredients together before pouring it into the bowl. Add in your silver items, and you’ll likely be able to watch them go from drab and dull to sparkling and brilliant.

After the silver is to your liking, take the items out of the bowl and hand wash them before using them. The only downfall to this method is that it’s best on smaller silver items like silverware and jewelry and not the best for big things like serving trays.
