Dogs are known to be friendly and pleasant to humans, the very reason why they are always picked as pets by many house owners. However, that’s not always the case.
Many dogs are being abandoned and left in shelters where most of their lives they are hoping that someday someone is going to adopt them and give them a wonderful home and family to live with.
Those are dogs who have either sickness, complications, or any kind of body deformity. They are least likely chosen to be adopted because of their complex situation. One of those dogs is Walter.
Looking at his appearance, you can quickly tell that Walter is not 100% healthy and needs to undergo some treatment. But that’s not an issue for this kind-hearted lady to adopt Walter.
Walter has a weird genetic disorder known as mucopolysaccharidosis or famously known as MPS VI. It’s a critical progressive disorder resulting in incomplete degradation of the body and cell function interference.
The lady who adopted Walter was pretty much aware of his condition, but that didn’t stop her from giving the dog a brand new life and a loving family for the rest of his lifetime.
Walter had a great life for almost two and a half years under the love and care of this kind-hearted lady. It might not be too long for us. Still, I believe that’s enough time for Walter to experience being happy and making his beloved family happy.
