Northwell Health Nurse Choir gets the Golden Buzzer on AGT

A group of people walked together and introduced themselves as the Northwell Health Nurse Choir. They were from New York, and they had their own stories of why they became nurses.

It was a tough year for them since New York was the center of the epidemic. With the patients being away from their families, the nurses stepped in to be there for them.

They became the hope that people needed, and that is what they want to do with their choir. Their aim is to spread their love and inspire others to stay strong in trying times.

Northwell Health Nurse Choir sings beautifully on America’s Got Talent

Onto the stage of America’s Got Talent, a big number of them walked. They were only 18 nurses out of the 18,000, all of them are heroes in their own right.

They sang a medley of “Lean on me,” and “Stand by me.” Their performance shows their talent both individually and as a group. By the end of the song they had huge smiles and received a quick standing ovation from everyone.

Simon started off by saying he needed them, and the world needed them. Howie called them heroic and stood up saying he wanted to stand by them as he walked to the center of the table.

He then pressed the Golden Buzzer. The nurses cheered and cried tears of joy, hugging each other under the confetti. Howie walked onto the stage and told them that they were the most inspiring moment he has had in the last year.
