Old Elephants Act Like Kids When They Are Rescued And See The River For The FIRST Time In Years! Aww!

Cool baths are one of the best things during the summer season. There’s nothing better when the sun is pounding down on you than jumping into a swimming pool getting refreshed. We are not alone!

As this video shows, humans are not the only ones that enjoy the cool massage of fresh water – elephants love playing in it as much as we do. This clip features a wonderful moment from an elephant sanctuary in Thailand and it will no doubt warm your heart.

The two old elephants in the clip below are named Madee and Kannika. They were rescued from long lives of hard labor and brought to Phuket Elephant Sanctuary quite recently. To walk without chains is a great thing, and to roll around free in the water, why that’s whole new level of ecstasy!

It has been many years since these two had the chance to bathe naturally. This is their first time in many years playing in a river. The way they have fun is truly precious! We couldn’t stop my smiling when we saw how happy they looked! They’re keeping a close eye on each other two, as if there’s a bit of an attempt to match their moves!
