This holiday season we have seen a lot of different amazing advertisements. My favorite so far was John Lewis’ “Man on the Moon.” The ad below, however, is on par with that one! You are going to be in tears when you see this beautiful video.
This exceptional commercial was recently released by a German supermarket corporation called “Edeka,” and it has quickly gone viral.
This commercial is short but very powerful. Watching it is like going on an emotional roller coaster ride. This ad features a senior man who is forced to spend Christmas alone because none of his children manage to make it home to him. What follows after that will surely put a tear to your eye!
This advert does a perfect job of reminding us of the importance of family. Like they say in the commercial, “Time to come home.” The man in the video certainly knows what’s important in life, and he goes to extremes to teach his adult children a lesson about what is essential during the holiday season, and that is family.
After taking rather drastic measures, the senior man gets his wish, and all of his children and grandchildren get quite a surprise when they arrive at his house for Christmas. I’m not going to tell you what those drastic measures are. You’ll have to watch and see.
