This holiday season we have seen a lot of different amazing advertisements. My favourite so far was John Lewis’ “Man On The Moon”. The advertisement below, however, is on par with it! You are going to be in tears when you see this beautiful video. This exceptional commercial was recently released by German supermarket corporation “Edeka” and it has quickly gone viral because of the powerful message it sends.
This commercial is short but very powerful. Watching it is like going on an emotional roller coaster ride. It features an elderly man who is forced to spend Christmas alone because none of his children manage to make it home to him. His children are in different parts of the world and each one calls to say why they can’t come home for the holidays. But he devises a plan to get them home because he knows that the most important part of Christmas is family being together.
And what follows after that will surely put a tear in your eye, but they will be tears of happiness. This advert does a great job of reminding us of the importance of family. Like they say in the commercial, “Time To Come Home” and at no time is this more true than during the holidays.
