With the Summer Olympic Games of 2021 in progress, the U.S.A women’s gymnastics team has undoubtedly been preparing to show off their impressive routines and tricks in Tokyo.
An ideal example is Jade Carey. She impressed everyone at the 2021 U.S. Championships Podium Training when she effortlessly executed a new skill.
However, we can’t tell what the other gymnasts like Carey have to bring to the table, with each one having their dynamic routines to show off.
Carey might be the ultimate match, considering how effortlessly she executed her new skill. The skill, identified as the triple-double layout, is also known as the double layout 3/1, or triple twisting double layout.
Although Carey would make an ideal addition to the four-member Olympic team, she opted to pursue an individual sport. Considering new skills and versatility are essential to secure a solid space in competitive games, it’s fair to say that Carey has done just that!
However, we shouldn’t also forget that the other Gymnasts like Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, Grace McCallum, and MyKyla Skinner have plenty of diverse skills to showcase.
It also seems like Lee and Chiles will be the top candidates joining Biles in the Olympics. All we can do is root for the team and wait to see what they achieve in the Olympic games. It’s such an exciting time, so stay tuned!
