There are times when our furry friends are just plain silly. They get themselves into some ridiculous situations, and even if they need help, sometimes it can be a little bit funny.
In our video below, this precocious kitten has gotten herself stuck in the branches of a tall tree. Mama cat is at the bottom of the tree, and I am reasonably certain that mama is rolling her eyes at her offspring. Mama almost appears to be saying, ‘well, you got up there, get yourself down.’ But, being the good mama she is, well, she will help, of course.
Mama cat channels her inner fire-fighter and climbs up the tree to retrieve her kitten. However, when she tries to grab him by the neck to carry him down, the kitten clings to the tree — so she is unable to get a grip. Then mama decides to guide the kitten down instead, but the kitten goes up higher, still afraid to come down.
Finally, mama comes down the tree and starts to again encourage the kitten from below to come down on his own. I can’t take how adorable this footage is, I love videos of mama cats rocking at taking care of their kittens, and this one definitely has a stellar mother!
