It is day 555 of life with otters, and a man has a gift for his furry friends. In preparation for a future camping trip, he comes home with special packages in his hands.
He starts to unwrap one of the packages which he thinks is excessively covered, so it takes a while to open. Soon enough he reveals it to be artificial turf that is 1m x 1m.
Captain Aty is curious about the turf while Ui is more cautious and approaches the green turf slowly. The turf is then unrolled and the man unpacks the tiny camping then beside it.
The tent is cheap but well made. Aty doesn’t like soft cushions so the man cuts a piece from the turf that can fit inside the tent. A few feet away Ui watches quietly.
A new piece of the turf is cut and it fits perfectly inside the tent. The man shows an old tent they used, but it got covered with mud in the rain, so he just uses it indoors.
Thankfully the new tent is waterproof and the turf is easy to wash and it dries quickly. Before he starts playing with the otters he cleans up all the scattered turf.
Inside the tent, the otters start to play and relax, but Aty keeps turning over the turf, crawling underneath it as he does with everything. They should be ready to go camping by next week.
