It is adorable to see animals together, especially when those animals are usually considered natural enemies. This video features a cat and an African Grey parrot. The parrot sees the passive and grumpy cat and waddles right over to him to irritate the hell out of the poor feline! You’ll be laughing uncontrollably when you see the cat’s reaction! Cats are well known for chasing birds, but this one has a hilarious reaction to being teased by a parrot.
At first the cat tries his hardest to ignore and gives a look that gives a whole new meaning to “if looks could kill.” But the parrot is undeterred and persistent. He moves closer than the cat would like him to and what he does next is hilarious! I was really worried about the cat’s eye at one point though! This was indeed adorable!
So the parrot in this clip is also really funny. He tries to put one of his feet on the cat’s face, and when it doesn’t reach, he moves closer and proceeds to put one foot on the side of the cat’s head, like he’s trying to do the splits. Then he bends over and pecks at the cat’s eye, but doesn’t touch it. Then he just bends over, stares into the cat’s face, and at this point I am cracking up at the parrot!
The cat just sits there giving a death stare to the camera. But just as you think the cat isn’t going to react, he does, and he’s lightning fast! This bird better watch out, because he can’t really fly!
