“The Prayer” by Pentatonix and Victory Brinker will send dozens of chills up your spine

You’ve heard many versions of “The Prayer” – a song made famous by Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion, but you’ve never heard it sung like this.

On America’s Got Talent’s season 16 finale, Victory Brinker performed alongside a capella sensation, ‘Pentatonix.’

The combo delivers a scintillating rendition of ‘The Prayer’ much to the delight of everyone, but especially Pentatonix fans who have been waiting “forever” for the vocal group to attempt the perennially popular song.

“The Prayer” was originally performed by Canadian singer Celine Dion and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli for the 1998 animated classic Quest for Camelot.

Since then, “The Prayer” has been the go-to choice of inspirational musicians and vocalists worldwide, covered by countless celebrity singers and amateurs performers alike, but not quite like this before; not with these celestial, spine-chilling harmonies. Pentatonix and Victory make a perfect pairing.

Victory Brinker made it to the Top 10 in a crowded field of AGT contestants. The 9-year-old has spent the last few weeks wowing judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel with her operatic vocal Talent.

“You have a glow about you tonight that is difficult to describe, but you have it,” Simon said of Victory. “You’re an absolute star. You have something special about you. I didn’t think you had a chance of winning, but after seeing this, I think you could win the show.”

Heidi added enthusiastically, “You sound like a winner. Your vocals are flawless and you give me goosebumps with every performance.”

Even though Victory didn’t win this season of “America’s Got Talent” (see who one Season 16 of AGT), she took the world by storm and succeeded in capturing the hearts of millions.

Those of us who watched Victory blow away the judges week after week on America’s Got Talent will be hard-pressed to forget the name “Victory” and that prodigious voice.
