Stephanie Brown got the surprise of her life while on vacation with her family in Virginia. While the family is from Ragged Point Beach originally, they recently went on a vacation to Massanutten resort.
Just as they were ready to head home after the holidays, Stephanie’s 4-year-old son turned up on the back porch with a baby deer in tow. Stephanie quickly reached for her phone and started taking pictures of the unlikely duo.
The fawn was completely at ease in Dominic’s presence. The baby animal stood perfectly still, in sync with the little boy as his mother snapped pictures. The cute little boy has such a gift. This animal magnetism isn’t easy to come by!
Stephanie quickly shared the picture of her son in his reindeer pajamas next to his new friend on social media. On Facebook, the post has earned more than 16,000 likes and 20,000 shares and links. People just cannot get enough of these two adorable buddies.
Stephanie asked Dominic to walk the fawn back into the woods, but the baby deer was more interested in watching Stephanie take pictures of him. When the deer was finally at home, both Dominic and Stephanie could ponder how special their encounter really was.
