Coconut is a rescued dog. He was rescued by an animal rescue organization, International Fund for Animal Welfare. The rescuers from this organization stumbled upon Coconut in a remote area of Mexico. He was found covered in used motor oil.
IFAW works in the field of animal assistance in more than 40 countries and also works with various local animal welfare organizations. IFAW partnered with the Humane Society of Cozumel Island for the treatment and care of Coconut. This video is the story of how Coconut found his forever loving home after he was rescued. The present owner of Coconut says in the video that she knew she wanted to adopt him the moment she laid eyes on him!
