Animal abuse is a crime, and unfortunately, it seems to be a big problem in many parts of the world. When we see stories of animal abuse we get perplexed thinking who on earth could be this cruel to an innocent animal and then we wonder what we could do to stop it. It seems like an impossible task because there are some people who exist in this world who tend to achieve happiness and pleasure by brutally abusing innocent animals. However, there are also people in this world who find it rewarding to rescue these animals and rehabilitate them.
This poor dog in Tampa, Florida became the prey of cruel and inhumane person and suffered unthinkable pain and tragedy. This poor helpless female pit bull mix named Cabela was found in the Tampa neighbourhood of Sulphur Springs with several gunshot wounds, and as if that wasn’t enough torture, she was also tied to some train tracks and left to be run over.
The police and the public were devastated by the poor dog’s condition when they found her. They are looking for the criminal who committed this heinous crime. Cabela was found and rescued and taken immediately for medical treatment. Cabela has been treated for the injuries, but unfortunately she had to have a leg amputated.
