A stray dog named Charlie was found on the side of the road, wandering the streets alone. He was brought to a LA Area Shelter and was terrified when he arrived. But unluckily, the shelter was an overcrowded, high-kill facility. So if Charlie wasn’t adopted quickly, within a week or so, he would have to be put down.
He was very sweet and had such a good disposition, and he was the perfect size for a house dog, but no one paid any attention to him. Perhaps because of the condition of his fur.
Charlie’s fur was matted up and tangled with painful burrs. But thankfully Hollywood Grooming stepped in and decided to give him a makeover. This kind woman worked for a long time to shave Charlie, and as his features are uncovered, you can see how cute his is. She gave him a bath and trimmed him some more. When she finished, Charlie wasn’t shaking anymore. He looked so proud of his new haircut!
You will not believe how Charlie looks when the groomer finished her job. He is like a whole new dog! His confidence was boosted, he could see better, and he felt better without all those burrs in his hair. He was so handsome and looked very adoptable. And sure enough, two days later some very lucky family took Charlie home with them.
