His days and nights were spent outside the house, chained up and neglected. But one particular night, Baxter assembles the courage to break from his chains, thus journeying on to find a new loving home.
He meets other fellow companions along the way. But the best part is the ending. You are going to tear up when you see this heartrending commercial! It imparts a powerful message, but it also has humor and emotion. This is an advert for the Blue Cross animal charity, one of Britain’s oldest animal welfare charities that finds loving homes for unwanted animals and also provides veterinary care for people who cannot afford private vets’ fees.
The song that is playing in this advertisement is “I Will Survive” and it shows Baxter making his way through the streets, meeting all different kinds of characters, while he appears to sing this song. At the end though, he is left alone in front of a house, and all of his companions are gone.
Just wait till you see what happens when the door to this house opens. It’s a really touching commercial and really gets the point across. I will never understand why people who don’t want to love and care for a dog ever get one.
