The following video features a wonderful story that will no doubt warm your heart. Lilo the Siberian husky never had children of her own and she never will. But when she was introduced to a tiny little kitten, it is quite clear how good of a mother she could actually be. When this family brought in Rosie the kitten as a foster, she instantly formed an incredible bond with the resident dog, Lilo.
Rosie’s first night didn’t go very well. She was really lethargic and unresponsive after that. So the family decided to let Rosie cuddle up next to Lilo for a long time. They say that Lilo always had an innate motherly instinct, but despite that, they were really surprised when she went into full surrogate mode. This adorable pair will melt your heart!
This video starts with Lilo cleaning Rosie, and Rosie, being a typical child, doesn’t seem to appreciate it all that much, but she seems to enjoy the cuddling part. Very much. Rosie is never far from Lilo and this compilation video shows them cuddling together, sleeping together, and there are some adorable pictures of the unlikely pair at the end.
Thanks to Lilo’s love and care, and to the humans too, Rosie is doing much better and is getting stronger. In fact, she’s so strong now that she can climb on top of Lilo’s head while she’s sleeping. This is an adorable pair.
