Randy Travis began his music career at the age of 19. He continued being a mainstay in country music until he developed health issues with age. Before that, he had recorded 20 studio albums and released over 50 singles.
Josh Turner is also a country music star who got his big break performing an original song at the Grand Ol’ Opry. His wife often travels with him, providing background vocals and playing the keyboard.
These two country legends perform Turner’s first number-one single, “Your Man,” in front of a live audience. Both have their guitars and are accompanied by a band.
Turner’s song “Your Man” is all about a loving couple getting to spend some quality time together. The song begins with, “Baby, lock the door and turn the lights down low / And put some music on that’s soft and slow / Baby, we ain’t got no place to go.”
The song continues with the chorus, “I can’t believe how much it turns me on / Just to be your man.” This is the song’s heart as the lyrics sweetly express that just being in a relationship is an incredible feeling.
The men smile at each other throughout the performance and even chuckle a bit. It’s evident that they are having a great time singing together.
At the end of the performance, Josh Turner asks for extra applause for Randy Travis. The senior country music star adds a lot of gravitas to Turner’s song and performance. It’s a treat to watch two great stars sing together.
