Ray Stevens

Country Music Hall of Famer Ray Stevens is back with a bang with a hilarious new music video entitled ‘Hoochie Coochie Dancer.’

In it, the 82-year-old sings about a funny carnival experience that involves a young man, a dancing lady, and the police. As with most of his other songs, it is a very catchy song with funny lyrics.

‘Hoochie Coochie Dancer’ is about a country boy who meets a belly dancer at a carnival and falls in love with her. The young mind finds himself in a challenging situation later that involves the police.

This song is from his latest album called ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Funny Anymore.’ In this album, Ray addresses some of the pressing issues of our time. The album includes songs like ‘Quarantine’ and ‘”Disorder Down on the Border,’ which address current USA events.

Ray likes to address current affairs the tongue-in-cheek way. Sometimes, this could upset sensitive audiences, but Ray believes in everybody’s right to voice their opinions and feelings.

“It’s perfectly legitimate to put out songs that are dealing with current events. I think that people bending to the will of the people who want to control everything are doing the world a disservice,” said Ray.

Diana Lee wrote online: “Ray, you haven’t slowed a step. Still unrivaled even at 82!” People worldwide are reacting positively to this song, and it is the kind of song that makes you smile and forget about the world’s problems for a while.
