From the sky, a hawk swooped down on an unsuspecting rabbit, but the hawk was in for a surprise himself. When the hawk’s talons started digging into his prey, the rabbit began to shriek.
A female deer, or doe, comes running in as quick as the wind from out of the tree line. She sprints past them and then quickly turns when she realizes she has gotten too far.
The doe then begins to attack the hawk to protect the rabbit. She pommels the hawk with her hooves, and the rabbit swiftly escapes. He doesn’t stick around to thank her.

With the rabbit now safely away, the deer and hawk continue their scuffle. It is a one-sided affair as the deer continuously stomps on the hawk with her powerful legs.
Around the area, you can hear birds chirping from the trees. They may be watching everything unfold. The doe wins the duel and makes sure the hawk stays down.
Another deer comes by to check on what’s going on, but she scares him away. It is unclear why she is keeping the other deer away. She remains standing over the hawk.
It was lucky for the rabbit that the brave deer was nearby. Without her, the small rabbit would have been an easy meal for the hawk.
