Red starts off talking about how the doctor always wants to weigh him. Red is upset with this practice, so he gives everyone a tip. He demonstrates how you can add helium to a kids’ inflatable swim ring, conceal it under your pants, and trick the scale. He stands next to a helium tank and puts the hose into his pants. He heads out to the van, walking with comically inflated pants. He gets in the van, and there’s an explosion. Red exclaims in a helium-filled voice, ‘Oh the humanity!’

Uncle Red enters the cabin and greets the studio audience. He hears Harold’s voice calling for help, and he opens the door to snow piled as high as the house. He tries to hand him skis to pull him in, but it doesn’t work.

Mike Hamar comes in and tells the story of people stuck in a snowstorm, and the only way they could survive was to eat one another. Harold finally escapes the snow and enters to audience applause. Mike eyes him up, squeezing his arm, saying, ‘He’s tender.’ He offers him a drink, and Harold swigs, saying, ‘What is that?’ Mike replies, ‘Marinade!’ The audience cracks up!

Red tries to get Dalton Humphrey to guess the word ‘Diet’ in the next segment. This leads to funny jokes between the two. This clip is followed by Red talking about the furnace and its many uses. Using duct tape, he takes a sledgehammer and morphs it into an oven and a hot water heater. He lights the fire and comically gets his cookies out of the furnace oven. It is total chaos as smoke fills his house!

There’s also a funny black-and-white skit about a chili cook-off that showcases physical comedy. In between these skits, Red tells the audience, ‘It’s starting to get ugly!’ They have no food and water, and they may have to eat Harold.

Dalton enters, and the gang celebrates, thinking he’s there to save them, but he’s actually trying to escape his wife and daughter. Red closes by telling his wife that he will be home after the plows do their job. He says, ‘Don’t worry, none of these guys have what you got….and if they ever get it, I’m quitting!’ The audience laughs with another funny episode of ‘The Red Green Show.’
