If you have ever had children of your own, you know just how hard it can be to find a quiet moment to yourself. Shadow, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, finally got some time to herself and chose to spend it in a pool.
A sweet rescue with a gaggle of pups, Shadow deserved this time to herself. This hot day seemed like the perfect time to enjoy a dip in the water to cool off.
Shadow seemed nervous at first, but she dipped into the water with Luke there to guide her. And despite the sounds of other dogs barking in the background, she seemed to enjoy herself.
According to the team, she had shown some interest in the rest of the pack. She even peeked over the top of the pool to see what the other dogs were doing.
Tail wagging, she even doggy paddled like a champ when Luke took her out into the water. As soon as she shook herself dry, she had to get back in, cozying up to her caretaker for some more pets.
Having done such a good time at this dock, Luke walked Shadow over to the other side. Here, she took another dive into the water, showing off her dog paddle skills once more.
Shadow’s tail beat the air as the two of them walked back into the warm sun. What a lovely day for this rescue mom, and what a perfect way to spend a hot day.
