A Retired Couple Devoted Their Lives To Abused And Abandoned Horses

Many retired couples dream about travelling around the world and going on long vacations. Larry and Peggy Neaves were not an exception. But then they made a decision that changed their lives forever. The Neaves decided to dedicate their time taking care of sick, abused and abandoned horses. They built a sanctuary called Habitat for Horses to look after these wonderful animals.

Larry is a former FBI agent and Peggy is a past inspector with U.S. Customs. Each horse that comes to them has its own heartbreaking story. At first, they thought that most of the horses would not survive till the next year because of the abuse they faced at the hands of their previous owners. But thanks to the care they received from the Neaves, they started recovering very fast.
