Russia’s Team Paradise Takes Synchronized Ice Skating To A New Level

During the 2019 World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland, Russia’s Team Paradise pulled out a flawless performance of ballet on ice. 16 dancers performed an amazing series of ballet forms, twirling across the stage as if they were on wires. Their freestyle performance earned them the #1 ranking world title.

At first, Team Paradise seemed to take to the ice in three large groups. They traveled across the arena in lines as graceful as the folds of their dresses. It was when they broke into groups that the real magic happened. Suddenly you have groups of five ladies raising their sistren in the air, and it’s breathtaking.

Gushed one appreciative fan: “Absolutely beautiful they look like little fairies floating across the ice so delicate absolutely flawless they floated like liquid just amazing. Lovely.” We have to agree. Team Paradise did an amazing job of making synchronized ice skating look so effortless. It was especially impressive so see eight pairs of skaters dancing in unison.
