Singer Sarah James has the voice, the stage presence, the personality, and she’s just thirteen years old.
The teen wowed America’s Got Talent with her incredible rendition of Billie Eilish’s hit song, “Lovely.” I’m a huge fan of Billie, but this child sang that song better than the original. So many goosebumps. Her voice is just so piercing and beautiful.
Indeed. Sarah is a star in the making. Simon clearly saw that when he slammed the Golden Buzzer. With that, the sparking confetti and tears rained down, fast-tracking Sarah straight to the live shows.
“We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but wow,” Simon said. “You have a real star glow about you that’s truly undeniable.”
Simon seriously wasn’t kidding when he said she had a star aura; I was completely enamored by her performance. Sarah is insanely talented; I really enjoyed watching her and can’t wait to see her grow.
I’d usually complain that this is just another kid singer, but she has no sob story, and her voice is beautiful. So clear and smooth.
Just watching her facial expressions was crazy. It was strong and emotional, and you could feel it. I got chills. The entire audience was on their feet.
“Sara, Sara, Sara. We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but wow!” said Simon.
Continuing, Simon said her performance was “a moment I’ll never forget. And I wanna make this a moment for you to remember forever.”
