This is one of the most inspiring videos I have ever been fortunate enough to see. We have all seen videos of animals being rescued from the harshest of conditions, their lives in danger, but this one takes rescue to a whole new extreme level. Norland was abandoned by his mother when he was born, and he had very little hope for survival in this cruel world. He had only been here for a day, and it already looked as if his time was up.
But luckily, there are kind animal rescue organizations that dedicate their entire existence to saving puppies like Norland, and this time, Cleveland Animal Protective League was the organization that stepped up to help Norland. The puppy was still way too young to be fed like he was a grown up, and they needed a surrogate mother to guarantee his survival and his eventual recovery. Not only do puppies need their mother’s milk, they need their warmth and touch in order to learn how to play and socialize properly.
This rescue organization was able to find a perfect, and let’s not mention unique, mom for Norland, and it’s someone you might not expect. I won’t spoil the ending for you, but it’s certainly one of the cutest things I’ve seen all day. Stories like this one always warm my heart!
