In 2011 Scotty McCreery won the hearts of America on his run during that year’s ‘American Idol,’ going on to win with his country charm and smooth vocals. Later that year he released the single “The Trouble with Girls,” which he went on to sing during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The music video for the song features a sort of autobiographical depiction of McCreery’s experiences meeting the love of his life in high school. In the video McCreery partners the girl in science lab then dedicates his playing of a baseball game to her. He would go on to marry the girl in a ceremony in 2018.
