Country star Scotty McCreery played one of America’s most famous stages, ‘The Grand Ole Opry.’ He performed his hit song ‘Damn Strait.’ The ‘American Idol’ Season 10 winner rocked the crowd with his original tune.

The stage is lit blue, and the band plays behind Scotty as a soft piano and guitar start the song. Scotty wears a plaid red and black collared shirt, and he holds his arms out and points to the sky multiple times while singing.

During the second verse, Scotty walks around the stage while singing, and before the chorus, he says, “Y’all let us hear you.” He holds the mic out for the crowd to sing along. He finishes the hook and says, “Y’all sound good, Grand Ole Opry.”

The song picks up momentum, and Scotty walks around the stage smiling and singing with his low-pitched Southern sound. In the end, he holds his arms out and spins around.

Then he says, “Make some noise!” They all cheer for him as he hits the final note again. The song ‘Damn Strait,’ is from Scotty’s fifth album titled, ‘Same Truck.’

Scotty had early success when his 2011 debut album ‘Clear as Day’ was released when he was 18 years old. The season 10 ‘Idol’ winner took the country music scene by storm with his platinum-selling release.

He also did something no other country artist has ever done in music history. He charted with his successful 2017 single ‘Five More Minutes’ without the backing of a record label. Scotty’s performance at the ‘Grand Ole Opry’ reminds us why he’s a country star.
