If you own a cat, you probably know about their unusual infatuation with boxes as they wonder what’s inside and how they can get in them. But did you know that their far and wild relatives are equally bewitched by boxes too, even though they are not domesticated?
In this video posted by “Big Cat Rescues”, you will be able to see some of the most beautiful and enchanting wild cats playing with a paper box. I was as surprised as anyone to see them playing with such an object, but I suppose after being in the wild their entire lives, a box is entirely foreign to them and they were very curious about it. This makes sense as all cats are inquisitive animals, not just house cats. It was an experiment to find out if big cats from the wild shared the same fascination towards boxes as domestic cats do. And what did they find, you ask? Well, cats will always be cats.
I can’t understand this relationship between a box and a cat. It is mysterious and yes, hilarious too! I have always liked cats, both wild and domestic. They look so elegant and gorgeous. But this funny and playful side of these beautiful creatures has made me love them even more.
