There are many homeless animals suffering in the streets due to different circumstances. The poor creatures are forced to live with no proper housing, food, or support. Shelters often take some of these dogs in, but sadly, not all shelter dogs get a chance to experience as much love as they deserve. There are so many homeless animals, that shelters simply cannot accommodate all of them, and this is a disturbing and terrible problem.
Blogger Stuart Edge decided to volunteer at the Janice R. Johnson Center for Animals in Deseret, UT. But when he arrived at the establishment, he saw the sad looks on the dogs’ faces. This can be very hard to deal with emotionally, as it was for Stuart. That’s when he knew he had to do something for them.
He asked the employees if there was anything he could do to help make these poor animals’ lives a little better. They said that dogs often had to find comfort on the hard concrete floors, so a few beds would be an amazing gift. Dog beds are not cheap, but the concrete floors are hard and cold, and that is no way for an animal to sleep. What Edge did next will move your heart!
I’m not going to spoil it by telling you what he did. But as you can see, these animals’ lives were improved and hopefully their spirits were as well. I hope we can all be motivated to help the animals at the shelters near us by watching this clip.
