Orca whales are one of the most massive and majestic creatures in the ocean. Just like most other aquatic animals, they can quickly find themselves in danger if they come too close to land. This video shows how a few people who work together can save a being in need of help.
Off the coast of British Columbia, people on the beach heard a strange sound and posted about it to social media. After a short amount of time, volunteers came with the necessary gear to help a crying Orca whale stuck in a pile of giant rocks.
The volunteers work together to keep the orca covered in as much water as possible. With sheets soaked in water covering her body and dumping buckets of ocean water over her face, they have to work quickly to save her.
Unfortunately, this happens to orcas more often than it should. Luckily this time around, the volunteers were able to get her free with enough time to spare. As the tide rolled in, she was able to nudge her way out of the rocks and quickly swam away unharmed.
