Some people believe in destiny others don’t. It’s as simple as that. For those who don’t, they will say that everything in this universe has taken place by chance. That it is not a conspiracy of the good or anything else like that. Everything is a result of past events that without any outside influence, give us the result we have today.
I am a believer in destiny. This is my personal belief. I believe that there’s just too much perfection in everyday things for it all to be a product of coincidence. I also believe that we have the power to touch and impact people around us in a positive or negative way. It’s called free will. We all have the same hours in a day and it’s how we choose to spend those hours that can set us apart from the rest.
The following video is a love story or a story of incredible coincidence depending on what you believe. It all started in Idaho, where a little kid from a farm hoped to share his blessings with someone else, and maybe, just maybe leave a lasting impression. It was a part of a school project. They needed to send a scrapbook and whatever they wanted to show the people who would get it, how they were.
The little boy finished his scrapbook and packed everything in a shoe box. Then, he sent his present to the Philippines. After that, he pretty much forgot about it. He didn’t know who had received his box or if anyone had for that matter. He didn’t have a name of a person or a school. So, if he wanted to know later one, he would have no way of doing so.
A girl received this box as part of her graduation ceremony. He had a picture and a scrapbook with a story to tell. He glanced at the pages day after day, month after month, and year after year. She kept this box for 14 years not really wanting or hoping for everything. She only knew that looking at the box and its contents made her happy.
So, one day she was looking at her Facebook and she had an idea. Why not look for the boy in the picture she had? The idea seemed a little far-fetched, but she decided to give it a try. After all, she had a picture and a name. She found someone with that description and send him a Facebook invitation. What followed next is a love story that doesn’t believe in coincidences. A story that can only be described as destiny!
