How A Service Dog Helps To Better The Life Of One Disabled Boy! OMG!

It’s no secret that adopting a dog can completely change a person’s life for the better.

For many young people who are just starting out in life or struggling in school, these aide dogs can also help them form their own identity, find self-worth, achieve happiness and make friends. Nathan Selove is one of these people. At 9 years old, Nathan was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism and between his seemingly never-ending meltdowns and being bullied by classmates; he was having a lot of trouble in school. However, when he and his parents adopted service dog Sylvia, everything started to change in a more positive direction

This video tells the touching story of Nathan and Sylvia. Although times weren’t always smooth sailing for this duo, fighting to keep his best friend by his side really paid off for Nathan in the end. Hopefully sharing this can help others realize the benefit of service dogs!
