“The Bachelor” superfan Meghan Fitton came to the American Idol auditions with a huge smile and an even bigger voice. While she loves the dating reality show the most, she was more excited to get the chance to use her vocal talents to make her dreams come true. She even got a special message from “The Bachelor” host himself.
Meghan Fitton is a fitness instructor living in Brooklyn, New York. She loves to sing, but more than anything she loves the dating reality show “The Bachelor,” and even has a podcast where she talks about the episode she watches. When the American Idol judges asked her though, she said she wanted to be on this show rather than be on “The Bachelor.”
Then Meghan began her audition in earnest, choosing to perform “Where You’re At” by Allen Stone. Her gritty, gorgeous vocals impressed all three judges, and Luke Bryan called her a superstar. Then they surprised Meghan by hooking up a conference call with “The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison, who gave her her ticket to Hollywood.
