Playing with puppies is so much fun. It makes you feel young yourself. They are little wriggly balls of energy. While it may be tiring, it’s also relaxing since it’s literally impossible to be worried about any of life’s problems when you’re faced with several pounds of pure joy in front of you? The mortgage? Forgotten. Stock market crash? What stock market crash? Just watch this video and you’ll see what I mean.
We see a Shih Tzu puppy and his dad laying on the floor. The dad just moves around every now and then and it sends the puppy into a frenzy of joy. His tail is wagging at like 1,000 wags a second and he keeps charging in and licking his daddy’s face. Both of them are having a ball and it’s just so much fun to watch. It keeps going until we see someone walking into the room through the door.
This is not a video where there are a lot of angle changes. We just see this guy lay on the floor for over three minutes and it’s not boring at all. The sheer energy of this shih tzu puppy is transfixing enough. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen the whole time. It’s clear that both of them adore each other. I hope they have many years of great times together. Though the head bonking might slow down with age.
I miss the days of playing like this with my miniature schnauzer. She was awesome. I’d just lay there and she’d butt my head. My cats can be playful, but it’s not quite the same as what a dog can do. Cats take a while between headbutts whereas dogs shower with the headbutts, licks, you name it. This is a video that took me down memory lane. Too bad no dogs are allowed where I live now. Maybe if I put cat ears on it…
