In the hands of Luca Stricagnoli, a strange instrument was held aloft. It was a guitar with three necks. The first neck had 6 strings, the center had 7, and the third neck, furthest from his face, had 3 thick ones.
With this gargantuan guitar, Luca started to play ‘Smooth Criminal’ by Michael Jackson. He plucked the strings of the first neck while also plucking on the third neck.
It was an impressive feat, to say the least, and he made it look easy. On his face was a look of pure focus, but he wasn’t straining himself.

Luca was a one-man band. He tapped on the guitar, using it as percussion as well. Michael Jackson’s song came to life as you’ve never heard it before.
The cover is upbeat and energetic. You could easily dance to this version the same way as the original. It is hard to imagine how he never makes a single mistake while playing.
Every now and then, he plucks on the center strings, but he mainly focuses on the outer necks of the guitar. His fingers continue to move quickly and efficiently.
He ends the song with a final strum and slap on the guitar. The notes hang and vibrate in the air as he looks lovingly at his impressive instrument.
