Watching reunions always brings a smile to my face, whether it is a family reunion, or get-together between friends, or even pets meeting with their owners after a long time. The video below features a reunion between a US Soldier and his adorable two-year-old daughter. And I have to admit, it is one of the cutest things I have seen all week!
Soldiers tend to sacrifice almost everything for the sake of their country. They go through so much mental and physical risk, and on top of it, they sometimes cannot see their family for a long period of time. Reuniting with their loved ones is always an emotional moment for them.
However, it doesn’t always need to be filled with tears. Just take this adorable video for example! This father came home from his overseas deployment and decided to surprise his daughter at school. Apparently, she wasn’t told that he was coming home. When he shows up at her school, her reaction wasn’t quite what anyone expected, including him.
When he walks into her school, she is playing with a toy airplane, and when she turns around and sees him, she laughs and says, “Oh, Daddy!” and runs right to him for a big hug. It’s so sweet. She is laughing the whole time, sharing kisses and smiles with her daddy.
She wants a group hug with her Daddy and her teacher too. Mom must be filming the whole thing. It’s really endearing to watch.
