‘Voice’ Contestant Turns The Chairs of All Four Judges Within 35 Seconds of Her Audition. Impressive!

Blind auditions are a sensational way to audition! The judges are only listening to the voice of the singer and not taking in any other possible factors. The artists that appear on blind auditions have only one shot to impress four judges.

When Somer Smith, a contestant on “The Voice Australia”, sang perfectly the song, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow”, she turned the chairs of all four judges within 35 seconds of her blind audition. Impressive!

The beautiful young woman sang the hymn that was written back in 1905. You can definitively never go wrong with vintage hymns. This song has also earned another artist, Mahalia Jackson, honors in 2010 with a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.

Somer had an amazing moment to display her ability to control her voice in an incredible way. She has the audience eating out of the palm of her hand.  In fact, Somer’s take on the song was so well sung that the judges were seen to be holding back their tears near the final lines of the song. In the end, to show their total awe with Somer’s performance the crowd and the judges gave her a standing ovation.

Throughout her performance, we as viewers, get to see Somer’s family getting very emotional over Somer’s success in her blind audition. Being able to witness their total amazement with her is truly heartwarming.

A performance as strong as this one will have an amazing impact on her career as an aspiring artist. It is actually very expected for her to become a successful artist in the future. She has one of the strongest voices that have appeared on “The Voice Australia” yet.

If you, too, were touched by this emotional performance, then share Somer Smith’s performance video with your friends.
