Typically, Austin performs with his ‘Home Free’ bandmates Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, Adam Chance, and Rob Lundquist. But this time, he takes center stage to show off his impressive vocal skills.
‘Home Free’ won the 4th season of ‘The Sing-Off,’ and ever since then, they’ve found success with their incredible harmonies and arrangements of popular songs. They perform over 200 shows a year when touring!
Their first major label album was titled, ‘Crazy Life,’ released in 2014. Austin has performed with the group for many years, and he also happens to be Michael Jackson’s nephew.
‘Tears in Heaven’ became Eric Clapton’s best-selling single in the U.S. and reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It won three Grammy Awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Austin’s rendition honors the original while putting a new spin on the classic song.
