Spot-On Judy Garland Impersonation Will Make You Laugh Out Loud

Switchfoot’s frontman Jon Foreman decided to do the most beautiful thing after hearing about a mutual friend’s unfortunately terminal diagnosis in this #LiveFromHome session.

What better song to pick than Horatio Spafford and Philip Bliss’ 1873 melody “It Is Well With My Soul” – a tune written as a testament to remaining faithful even when experiencing loss and heartbreak?

As Foreman uses the tune in this heartfelt tribute to a loved one, the touching lyrics “whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say it is well, it is well, with my soul” are made even the more beautiful by the singer’s lightly strummed ukulele and emotive tone.

Just as he beautifully points out at the beginning of the video, this is a song for the living as well as for those who are facing the end. We can all learn from its beautiful message of hope.
